              Project: Construction of 3000 sq ft detached two storey house with detached garage at 123c Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt BT45

              McCulloch Estate Agents were the sole selling agents of a new build five bedroom detached property in which MCL Building Contracts / MCL Construction Group were the lead contractor responsible for the construction of the property in late 2017. As our agency was appointed to sell the property off plan, we were able to observe the entire build from start to full completion and handover to the buyer.

              We were very impressed by the standard of finish in the property, also by the attention to detail by the builder and their team and their willingness to put in the effort to keep the buyer satisfied at all times. Ref: Quality reference concerning new build development in relation to completed works in St Johns Court
and St Johns Mews Portstewart
To whom it may concern,
The IMAC group employed the services of MCL contracts to carry out the development of two sites in
Portstewart consisting of 10no dwellings over two phases. As a new developer our main focus was quality
for the potential clients and our stringent procurement process awarded MCL Contracts with the contract
Their role commenced from initial site meetings with myself where their allocated project manager
deployed clear experience of such works which built an initial trust circle and allowed us to take a more
relaxed attitude to the entire project. Our plan was simply to have a weekly meeting with MCL contracts to
discuss progress, changes, site issues etc. These meetings where held on every planned occasion and at all
times information was presented in a professional and timely manner.
The role of MCL commenced from the initially demolition of the existing buildings on site through all
aspects of the build until final handover to the various clients
MCL contracts dealt with all parties involved in the development including the estate agent, water services
contractors, electrical services contractors, building control including final completion inspections and also
dealt with various client viewings and extra finishing requests. The financial element of the project was also
well managed and any variations where clearly presented in such a way to allow us to monitor closely all
projections and budgets through to final account stage
As a first-time development we were delighted with all aspects of the build and how works where managed
on site.
